Plaster carved, Pressed, and Slab Constructed Mug Workshop!

Join us for a hands on workshop with visiting artist Christina Orthwein!
In this one day workshop we will learn to design, transfer and carve an intricate plaster press mold which we will use to press panels and build a six sided slab built mug. There are many techniques in this process that can be used in all kinds of ceramic work.

We will discuss how to design your own patterns and cover finishing ideas that will highlight your low relief designs.
